The 37^th Annual General Meeting of the Wey & Arun Canal Trust Limited will take place at Billingshurst Village Hall on Saturday 24 April 2010 at 2.30pm.

The agenda will be as follows:

1. Apologies for absence.
2. To confirm the Minutes of the Extraordinary General Meeting held on 24 October 2009
3. To receive the Chairman's Report.
4. To adopt the Accounts and Balance Sheet for the year ended 31 December 2009, together with the Directors' and Auditors' Reports.
5. To appoint the Auditors for 2010 and to authorise the Council of Management to determine their remuneration.
6. Election of Trustees
   1. Brian Andrews, Wendy Andrews, Julian Morgan, Sally Schupke and Eric Walker retire from the Council of Management in accordance with section 42 of the Trust's Articles of Association and are eligible for re-election;
   2. If you wish to stand for election as a Trustee, the requirements are:
      1. A paid-up member of the Trust must propose your election in writing (and you must agree to the proposal);
      2. The proposal must reach the Hon. Sec at least 14 days before the meeting - that is, by 10 April 2010 (the Secretary has a proposal form, although you are not obliged to use it).
7. To receive a Report from the Chairman of W&A Enterprises Ltd.
8. To present the Jack King and John East Cups.
9. To transact any other business proper to an Annual General Meeting.
