| Saturday, 18th September at 10.30am the 50' narrowboat weighing 10 tons, "Zacharia Keppel", reports she has broken down north of Brewhurst Lock |
| DABBLERS TO THE RESCUE |
Under the command of Alan Woodroffe, the Southwater Dabblers Model Boat Club
sends a fleet of tugs to tow the narrowboat back to her base at the Onslow Arms. Question: Can these little boats, no more than a metre long, tow a 10 ton narrowboat? |
