 Bailing_Out_001
10. While moored in Lordings flood lock, the reed cutter sank in 4ft of water. Feb 23, 2006.

11. The recovery operation started on Feb 26 and after lowering the water in the canal pound, the boat came into view.

12. Using a beam and a car jack, the boat was lifted with its gunnels clear of the water.

13. Using the advanced technology of a bucket, the boat was then baled out.

14. The cutter was then removed and the boat taken back to Tickner's to have the engine stripped down and dried out.
