IMPORTANT. C J Thorne Co Ltd., the constructor of the Loxwood Bridge, has now completed the project and left the site. The area remains a construction site and for this reason the public is not allowed on the site at any time. Burras, the piling contractor is now on site and will start piling on Monday Sep. 29, 2008.
July 26, 2008 - Under the bridge, looking west. Excavation by the bridge contractor is now complete. The floor or invert will be cast this week. The line of towpath supports will end at the exposed pile in the upper centre of the picture.
