Here is Tim's short WACT autobiography:

"Tim Jolly joined the Wey & Arun Canal Trust in 1983. He joined the Council of Management in 1986 as Publicity Officer, then served as Treasurer from 1988 to 1995. After taking early retirement, he took over as Editor of Wey-South in 2002 and rejoined the Council of Management. He has organised the annual Christmas Dinner in Arundel since 1993 and the annual Raffle since 1997. He is a member of the Trust's Publicity Group and helps with sales and publicity at the Onslow Arms most summer Sundays. He thinks that helping to restore the Wey & Arun Canal is a fascinating activity, with scope for virtually anyone to help according to their abilities. Volunteers can see their efforts making a difference at the same time as enjoying themselves."

The funeral will be held at 3pm on May 19, 2010 at Worthing Crematorium. Findon Road (A24), Findon, Worthing, West Sussex, BN14 0RQ.
