IT'S PODDLE TIME! - Sunday 11 June 2006

The Poddle this year will start and finish at Mill Pool House, in Godalming, Surrey with lunch at Hascombe Village Hall.

This year we are encouraging as many people as possible to 'leave the car at home' and come by train to Godalming to the start of the walk. Please see below for details. However, if you feel this is not for you, then there is plenty of car parking available at the Start/Finish point.

Last year we raised £13,000 for the restoration of the canal, and this year we aim to raise money towards the gates at the new Lock in Loxwood.

Let the train take the strain - The Start/Finish point this year is right next to Godalming Station, so why not think about coming to the Poddle by train? GroupSave tickets are available from South West trains for groups of 3 or 4. If you produce a valid train ticket at the Poddle Check-in, a further £5 will be donated to the Trust on your behalf.
