Canal Guided Walks

Join Bridget Glynne-Jones for a delightful 10.5 mile walk (approx 4 hours) walk following the route of the middle section of the Wey South Path visiting parts of the canal both restored and under restoration. Meet where the canal meets the Run Common Road north of Cranleigh at 10am on Thursday, September 23, 2010. Anyone requiring transport can meet in the WACT car park at the Onslow Arms in Loxwood, the finish point, at 9.15am where transport will be provided. Lunch will be a stop at the Three Compasses in Alfold. Any donations to the Trust gratefully received. Please call the office on 01403 752403 to book a place.
This walk follows the same route as the May 6 walk and is being organised in conjunction with Surrey Countryside Walks.
Walks are usually guided by Bridget Glynne-Jones, who is an experienced and knowledgable walker and also the WACT office manager.
